Have you or a friend every been in the situation where you have received a Word attachment or Spreadsheet via email, and you have been unable to open it because you don’t have Microsoft Office?
Well, read on and I will show you how to open and read those word attachments.
1.Word Viewer 2003 – The easiest way to view word documents when you don’t have Word installed on you computer is to simply download and install the free Microsoft word viewer from CNET Download.com. This is a completely free application from Microsoft, than enables any Windows based computer to view a Word document.
2.Office Office – Is a open source or free Microsoft Office alternative. It has features with rival Office, but at a price most people can afford $0

It features a word processor, spreadsheet, database and a presentation program.With Open Office by Oracle, you can both open and save word documents and excel spreadsheets.Open office has been around for nearly eight years and has been download and installed by millions of users world wide. 3.Google Docs – This is a set on online Word, Excel and PowerPoint templates that are available free to all Google users.Simply sign up for a free account at Google and you will be able to access dozen’s of online templates that you can customize and modify to suit you needs. This also is a very popular choice for people who want a free alternative to Office.
